When a Hyperliquid Bot Trades Zero Times — and Why That's Edge

Week 29 of the public trade journal closed with zero trades. That is not downtime: it is selectivity. How Frontier waits when setups fail quality gates — with full public logs.

The uncomfortable number

In week 2026-W29 the live HyperAgent journal published **zero closed trades**. Win rate and net P&L are undefined — because the engine did not force entries. You can read the issue at `/journal/2026-W29`.

Past performance is not indicative of future results. A quiet week does not predict a profitable week. Trading perpetual futures involves substantial risk of loss; see `/risk`.

Why zero can be correct

Most retail bot marketing optimizes for activity: grids, DCA cadence, constant fills. HyperAgent's Frontier path is the opposite: **selective long-only entries** when open-interest and microstructure conditions align, with published exit discipline. When conditions are not good enough, the correct action is wait.

What we publish so you can verify

Unlike black-box signal services, HyperAgent posts a weekly journal: trade count, win rate, fees, exit reasons, best/worst trades when any exist. Weeks with zero activity are still published — transparency includes silence.

How to use this as a trader

1. Prefer agents that can wait over agents that churn fees. 2. Read `/performance` and `/journal` before depositing capital. 3. Size accounts so fees do not dominate (we recommend roughly $5,000+ of risk capital).

Apply it

Create a free HyperAgent account, connect trade-only Hyperliquid keys, and review live track record before enabling live trading. Payment method is required before the agent can go live; the plan includes a 15-day free trial.
